The Vitra Design Museum is among the leading design museums in the world. This exceptional building by Frank Gehry was completed in 1989 and was the first building in Europe to be created by the Californian architect. At the same time, Gehry's building, which is situated on the edge of the Vitra's spacious premises, represents the peak of one of the most interesting architectural ensembles of contemporary times.
